Chef Marian Alcocer was born in Cape Verde Island, a small country off the west coast of Africa.
Chef Alcocer moved to Boston in 2003, as a young teenager in a different country she was looking to find his identity, she found it in the kitchen where she could be creative and express himself through food. She then knew that cooking was her passion and that was what he was going to do for the rest of her life. She put herself through Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Boston, and worked for some of the most prestigious hotels, restaurant, and private clubs in the Boston area, places like Encore Boston Harbor, Mandarin Oriental Boston, Beacon Grille, Harvard club of Boston, is only a few on the list of many experience that she has in the hospitality industry. Chef Alcocer made it her mission to elevate the cuisine from her country, Bom Foods LLC is a vessel that she uses to share part of her soul with you.
